Battles of the American Revolution
The American Revolutionary War was a long and bitter conflict fought between Great Britain and its rebellious thirteen colonies, which were struggling for independence as a new nation, the United States of America. The Americans ultimately prevailed, but only after eight years of warfare, approximately 250 battles and skirmishes, and 25,000-70,000 wartime dead.
Battles of Lexington and Concord
The Battles of Lexington and Concord were engagements fought between British regular soldiers and militia from the colony of Massachusetts. The British troops were on their way to seize military supplies stored in the town of Concord when they were confronted by the colonial militiamen. An American victory, the battles triggered the American Revolutionary War.

The Battle of Bunker Hill was a major engagement in the initial phase of the American Revolutionary War, fought primarily on Breed's Hill in Charlestown, Massachusetts. Capture of Fort Ticonderoga
The Capture of Fort Ticonderoga was a military operation that occurred early in the American Revolutionary War. A small colonial expedition jointly led by Benedict Arnold and Ethan Allen surprised the British garrison of Fort Ticonderoga, seizing both the fort and its artillery. The Americans later used the captured cannons to win the Siege of Boston.

American Invasion of Quebec
The American invasion of Quebec was a military campaign undertaken during the American Revolutionary War. Hoping to induce the Province of Quebec to join the rebellion, the Second Continental Congress dispatched troops under generals Richard Montgomery and Benedict Arnold to occupy British-controlled Canada.
